Bhadrachalam Rama temple - 27- April- 2013
We (Govindan Thatha, Vijaya patti, karthi, Kanaka Patti, Vanchi, Vidya, Akshaya,
Gayathri, Bhavani, Srinath, Srinidhi & myself) went to the below temples.
We went to vijayawada by binakini express. from vijayawada hired a
tempo traveller for bhadrachalam. he charged us per km 16/- and 250
driver batta for 580 km(9250+500=9750)
We reached Bhadrachalam at night 2.00 am went to Sita nilayam, Ramdas(vijaya patti brother) booked the rooms for us.
(Ramadas is the brother of Vijaya patti. He booked the rooms here
and vijayawada for us. Interestely Ramados parents was interested to have a boy
child so they prayed bhadrachala rama, the couple was blessed with boy child
they aptly named him as Ramadas. Bhadrachala ramadas we got this bhadrachala
rama temple, for us with our relative ramadas we got the darshan of rama)
We woke up at 5.00 am had a bath in the Godavari river. in the godavari river side there are lot of ramayana statues they are very good it will narrate the story.
went to Bhadrachala Rama temple. It is in a small hillock, we can climb in all four side to reach
temple.south side steps are less (only 44)and having a lift facility. The life
out side we can see a big bhadrachala ramadasa. in the right side there a big
hall. all the prasad are segregated and packed. it is nice to watch and the
aroma from that room drags our minds and remembered the tirupati laddu. once you
climb the steps left side anjaneya sannithi is there. backside of anjaneya
sannithi the "Q" Starts. it is small snake q we waited nearly 30
minutes. the big Dwajastambha welcomes us. next 2 Garuda facing the Rama we can
see here. usually the Anjeneya only face Rama. Rama here is called Vaikunda Rama
Rama holding Sanku and chakra. on the lap sita is sitting. Sita
was wearing green colour saree. near by lakshmana was standing with bow and
arrow. Rama and lakshmana wearing the pure white dress.Rama and lakshmana having umbrella as snake. like tirupathi the
persons tell us to move but our eyes not comes out of rama. we captured rama
and sita in our heart and came out.
in the prabharam sita sannithi three forms of sita we can see.
one is big moolavar. before urchavar before a small archanai
sita.moolavar was wearing the oranage colour saree, urchavar was in yellow and
small sita was in maroon red apty fit for the kumkuma archanai. backside of
moolavar there is small stone in that rama pada was drawing to remember that
rama stand on the stone. there are sannithi for krishna with flute, hayagreewar
with olai and jabamala. here there is a small rangathana urchavar is there.
alwar sannithis and Andal sannithi. we prostrated before dwajasthamba and
stepped down.
There is no big hotels only one a small hotels and road side
shops. we had our idly vada and dosa.

I have shown the list of nearby temples, but the Drivers refused all that & told the Boat ride is famous here just go for it. so we accepted hesitantly. then we booked the ticket in the bhadrachalam it self. for the adult 350/- and kids 200/- . the van moved to the boarding point kunavaram. it is 50 Km from bhadrachalam. Here lot of persons waiting for the boat ride. we asked one person he seen the slip and told to Devi venkatramana boat, go and have tiffin in the nearby shed. most of them in the boat so we just taken one tiffin and climbed the boat.
the boat is having 2 level one is top floor the persons filled on it. we wished to take the lower one because it is covered one to avoid the sun it is the best way. The person removed the anchor and moved the boat in side way and back then boat started moving it is a motor boat.few minutes passed every one in the lower floor moved to the side balcony to see the scenery. Toilet in the backside of the boat. Music system with mic, a announcer warn the person if one side is over crowded.
it was very nice the light breeze from the godavari boat moved for 1 hrs and stopped at the perantalapalli, it is a tribal village. a small shiva temple and ramakrishana sannithi, A water spring infront of temple.everyone enjoyed in the Water falls. the water was very clear and sweet. then entered the shiva temple. it is a small prayer hall in the middle a small shivalinga is placed. there is small dhara patram above shiva,from that water is dripping on shiva. the silence is maintained, this ambience make every one to sitand do the meditation. next Ramakrishna sannithi ramakrishna is sitting on the White bird annabakshi. opposite side there is small anjaneya in peculiar dark green colour. moved few yards there is water taps with cups. the water is very good so every one taste the water. from here we can look at the godavari river and hills. it is very beautiful. we walked back to the boarding point in the path the tribal makes the bamboo products there are very good and attractive. we waited for some time to catch our boat. mean while our boat went some where and came back. we tasted orange ice and cashenut fruit.the boat came we boarded and the boat started the journey at 1 pm he stopped at one place to have a veg lunch. it consists of sweet kesari, veg briyani, white rice alu sambar, dhal, small triangle papads, cauliflower pakoda,onion raita and thick curd. again moved to the boat this time boat moved fast and taken long journey announcement came it is a famous papikondalu hills. we could not make any difference in the hills. he told it is forest area. lion, tiger and dangerous animals are living in the forest.around 5.30 the boat came back to the starting place. the day without any cell phone calls. fully spend the day with nature.the ambience and scenery never forgettable in life.
we came back and moved to vijaywada enroute we visited again the bhadrachalam temple the urchavar was placed out side hall. Orange colour saree and white dress for rama steal our heart. we reached the vijayawada at 12.15 AM. directly went to hotel anupama and stayed that night.
