Rayagada Temples visit

I went to Rayagada for the official visit.  With the help of my Friend Mr Selvaguru.I booked the cab to take the local temple visit on 10-08-2016

Chatikona shiva temple

It is approximately 50 KM from Rayagada.

The travel in the car shows the full view of outside. both sides are full of greenery with small mountains. After crossing the railway gate we can able to see the temple.

Shiva temple is in front of a small hill. from the hill there is a natural water fall which makes the spot very live and good place for picnic spot. A big nandhi welcomes us. the shiva was small in shape the place is near water fall. so i have taken one bucket full of water and done the abishekam for lord shiva. It is a advantage of north india shiva temples so enjoyed it.

Lakshmi Narayan temple

This is the famous temple build and maintain by the Indian Metals and Ferro Alloys Limited (IMFA) in their campus. The center temple host lakshminarayan in the left side radha krishna , right side Rama, Sita Lakshmanan another durga sannithi in the left and Siva sannithi in right side. in the siva sannithi pillayar, murga and parvathi also there. There is a small shiva below the floor. Adisankaracharya also seen here. 

Jagganath temple

Jagannath temple Krishna balrama and subhadra. the temple is approximately 24 steps from the ground. in hindu culture 24 is very significant and auspicious. in the prahara we can see the shiva, vinayaga , durga and Lakshmi sannithi.

Next day i we went to saibaba temple behind the rayagada railway station

Majhighariani Temple

Next day We( Mr Sarma, Selvagu & myself)visited Majhighariani Temple
Outside the temple there is horse which welcome us all
This temple is very famous in this area.only Majhighariani face is visible. Face looks like calcutta kali with big nose ring
