We (Panchapi Chittappa, Jaya chiti, Kanakapatti,Ranganatha Attimber, attai, Rama patti, Rukku,Vanchi, Vidya, Akshaya, Gayathri, Bhavani, Srinath, Srinidhi & myself) went to the below temples. We hired a Mahindra tourister cab for us. It came in the morning 6.00 AM. We finished all the temples 2 days. total cost for the trip Rs 5500/-
Saraswathi Temple, Koothanur
It is the old and very famous temple for Saraswathi. Well and neatly maintained. It is believed to get the blessing before writing the exams to score Hgh marks. Lot of peoples throng comes here to get the blessings before writing the exams.
Laithambal sametha meganatha swamy temple, Thirumeeyachur, Peralam
Paadal petra stalam. It is believed lalitha sahasranamam was written here.
Ambal adorn with mukuthi, otiyanam and kolusu. Ashtapuja durgai in the prabharam is very famous.
We can see the shiva consoles wife parvathi in the praharam.

Periyanayaki sametha Airavateshwarar temple, Dharasuram
Very famous temple. Maintained by ASI. One of the three famous temples built by chola dynasty. Tanjai Periya koil, gangai konda cholapuram are the other two temples.
kalyanasundari sametha kalayana sundarar temple, Nallur
One of the paadal petra stalam.Change in color every 2 hrs.in the same karpagragam both linga swarupam and murthy can be seen. Swayambu lingam. The lingam is change five times in a day. So he got the name panchavarneswarar. Like Vishnu temples here shattari is given to the bhaktas. Ashtabhuja kali with 8 hands very popular and famous. She is very beautiful. She was in yellow color saree.
In praharam we can see kailasa Ganapathy.
My mother in Law native place. So kanaka patti andJaya patti telling us the olden days how they walked the three rivers, how they studied. His father use to keep the buttermilk for the welfare of peoples walking from the town etc.
108 Sivatemple – Papanasam
Here all the 108 lingams are installed by Rama. Here we can see a hanuman in linga form called hanumantha lingam.106 lingams are arranged in 3 rows each row containing 35 lingam center row has 36 the main lingam is the 107 and hanumantha lingam is 108.

Kali is kept in big box. Once in a year taken out for 3 days and festival is celebrated.

Prananatha swamy temple, Thirumangalakudi
Very close to suriyanar temple. The presiding deity is Prananadeswarar (Shiva) and the Goddess, Mangalambigai (Parvathi). The main deity is Swayambu Lingam. One of the paadal petra stalam.
There is no navagrahas sannithi.
Suriyanar koil
One of the main navagraha temples. Main deity Suriayan. All the navagraha swamis are placed in small sannithis. Fully crowded.we have visit this in ordinary days.Here all Navagraha murthys gives only blessing so they don’t have any weapons and vahanams.
Arulmigu Karpagambikai sameda Agneeswarar Temple, Kanjanoor
The main deity is Swayambu Lingam. One of the paadal petra stalam. One of the main navagraha temples—Sukiran.
Sri Bodhendral Adhishtanam ,Govindapuram
59th Acharyal of Sri Kanchi Kamakoti Peetam. The new hanuman murthy is installed by Sri Muralidhara guruji. All four veda murthy photos can be seen here. Punch of keerai is kept in a table with a placard says 1 punch is 5/- there is small box next to it. We have to take the keerai & put the money in the hundi. kids enjoyed putting the money and giving the keerai to gosala cows.
Vittal Temple. Govindapuram
One of the tallest temple gopuram in India. Nearly 30 steps walk to reach the main hall. It is big hall. In the hall the wood carvings and painting are very nice.
in the next hall is the karpa graham it is very big. It is a Air conditioned hall. We can see air conditioned karpa graham in north India. I hope this is first in south India. Few persons are doing live bhajans in one corner. The hall is fully with bhajans vibration. The rukmai and vittalan draped in nice white and yellow combination of dresses. We can touch the Rukumai and pandurangan.
Kamakoti peetam Temple, Govindapuram
All kanchi kamakoti peetam acaryal’s are in order with year period. Very clean and calm. Very good place to do meditation.
Uppiliappan temple
Heavy crowded. Had a darshan purchased few prasadam packets hurried to next temple.
Sri Maha Prathyangira Devi Temple - Ayyavadi
It is very close to Uppiliappan temple. It was closing time. We just entered the entrance by seeing us everyone told us to run inside to have a darshan. Ambal is adorn with thanga kavacham. Very beautiful. It does’t look prathyangara devi. Most the flowers are removed from the devi so we had a good darshan. They waited for us for few more minutes.then we thinking of karunai of prthyangira devi returned to home.
