Kumbakonam trip on 26th & 27th May 2012 We (Panchapi Chittappa, Jaya chiti, Kanakapatti,Ranganatha Attimber, attai, Rama patti, Rukku,Vanchi, Vidya, Akshaya, Gayathri, Bhavani, Srinath, Srinidhi & myself) went to the below temples. We hired a Mahindra tourister cab for us. It came in the morning 6.00 AM. We finished all the temples 2 days. total cost for the trip Rs 5500/- Saraswathi Temple, Koothanur It is the old and very famous temple for Saraswathi. Well and neatly maintained. It is believed to get the blessing before writing the exams to score Hgh marks. Lot of peoples throng comes here to get the blessings before writing the exams. Laithambal sametha meganatha swamy temple, Thirumeeyachur, Peralam Paadal petra stalam. It is believed lalitha sahasranamam was written here. Ambal adorn with mukuthi, otiyanam and kolusu. We ( kanka patti, Vanchi, Vidya, Akshaya,Gayathri, Bhavani, Srinath, Srinidhi & myself) visited the ISKCON temple in chennai on 24th June 2012. We started from the home @ 9.00 am reached at 9.45 am. it is in the Mahabalipuram Road. it is newly constracted here recently kumbabhishekam was performed. earlier these deities were in T.Nagar.From thiruvanmiyur to mahabalipuram road we whave to go ahead of VGP golden beach,the temple arch welcomes us in right side.  temple is just 1 km from the main road. The stree name is bhakthi vedantha swami  road.
