Kerala trip on 29th 30th We ( Viji Patti,kanka patti, Vanchi, Vidya, Akshaya,Gayathri, Bhavani, Srinath, Srinidhi & myself) went to below temple in Chervolet tavera car.In Coimbatore they charge differently. Perday 1500/- Per km 5/- . we traveled 700 Km the cost for the trip 3000 + 3500 + 200 (toll charges) = 6700/-
Kalady- Krishna templeKalady Krishna temple on the banks of poorna river. the temple is maintained by sringeri peetam. This time we have seen the river ghat was renovated. few peoples are taking bath. Krishna temple is very good. It was neat and tidy. Maintaining well.
The lord saradhamabal is very nice. She adorn golden kavachavam it is very nice. The aryambal stupi also placed neatly.
Kalady- Keethi StampamKalady- Keethi Stampam is very beautiful. We just enjoyed studying the stories written about adi sankara. it is well planned and kept neatly.
Alwaye– Shiva temple
Aluva shiva temple is located on the banks of Periyar river, it is just 1km from the National highway. Temple is Beautiful and Very big. Lot of cows is present in the open space. Lot of pilgrims is taking bath in the ghat.
Chottanikkara Bhagavathi TempleWe went in night at closing time. Stayed in a lodge to pass the night. Went morning again 4.00 am to have a darshan. Bhagavathi was adorn in white cloth like a saraswati. In the noon she will be like a Lakshmi. In the night she will be like a durga. The below temple is called “keeza kaavu” .
Amme narayane famous song on this amma was rendering in the speaker. It was very pleasant morning. The light breeze , the music, you are in the temple make your heart will find a good place to rest.
kaduthuruthi – Sivan templeOne of the famous three Mahadeva temple. All the three shiva temple are worshipped by arakka named Khara. Khara and dhoosana was killed by rama in Ramayana.
The other two temples are Ettumanoor and Vaikom. Visiting these three temples on the same day is believed very auspicious.
In the prakaram we can see the vaikattappan and ettumarurappan.
Kottayam-Ettumanur– Sivan templeGood temple.very peaceful. Adi sankara worte soundarya lahari from this temple.
Malliyur – Mahganesh TempleMalliyur maha ganesh temple is very famous for its uniqueness the ganesh lap the Krishna is sitting. it is very nice to see this. In the backside shiva,kali,sasta deities are present here.

Kottayam-Vaikom – Sivan templeIt is very famous temple in kerala as then kasi temple. Very big temple. Ramayana pictures in the wall are very good. We can see a big nandi here. We went at the of abhishekam. So with milk abishekam we are able to see the shiva fully. It is a big shiva linga. Inside the temple tank is there. first visited the tank. Simply stayed here for some time went inside 2 or 3 time to have a look of abhishekam.Palakkad-Sree Visalakshi Sametha Viswanatha TempleKshipra Ganapathy Temple is there in one entrance. So we went inside had a darshan . it is small & beautiful temple.
This kasi viswanatha temple is on the banks of kalpathi river. It is believed as half kasi. Full of tamil peoples. The river was 20 steps below the temple.
