Enroute to ponvilaithakalathur we visited Chettipuniyam. This very famous for yoga hayagreevar. Students come here with pens, notebooks placed before hayagreevar to get his blessings to do well in their exams. Moolavar is varadaraja perumal.urchavar is yoga hayagreevar. He is very small and wearing muttangi it is very beautiful. Bhattar is very patient enough to take pens and notebooks from bhaktas and returning it back to them after placing them in Hayagreevars feet.To write the exam roll number instead of wall there is a board here.
