We went to Puri Jagannath temple today. The
The Jagannath Temple is located in Reddy Kuppam Road, Kanathur, Chennai. Between Tollgate and Mayajal. Go via fish market, The temple around 500 meters away from the ECR road
From the main gate god welcome us. In the left side Ganesh is there. his head is slightly reclined position. In the Grabha graha two Ganesh are there. Faing him Kasi Viswanath sannithi.
next climbing 24 steps we reach the main Lord Balabdra (White face) , Sister Subdra( Yellow Face) and Krishna ( Black Face). we had good darsan and came down. but the Aarthi started. so went again all had a opportunity to join the pooja. Myself given the DRUMs, Srinath & Srinidhi given Thalam to play. Just 15 minutes the priest was doing the upcharas and Aarthi.
Then we came down and saw the Narashima. then in prakaram Maa Vimala devi & Maa Lakshmi devi Sannithis. then we saw Navagrahas in single line. it is very special here. The temple has beautiful green landscaping.There is a budda also in siting posture
Then we had purchased the ticket for prasad and taken food there.It is served here for Rs 120/ Per person

Morning 6.30AM to 12.30AM and Evening 3.30PM to 7.30PM

Beach is very nearby so we went to each after food and stayed and returned to home
